Abstract
The paper discusses the events and circumstances that preceded and led to the campaign of Hungarian king Charles Robert in Serbia in the first years of the reign of king Dušan. Also, it is concluded that there were two campaigns in question, and we discussed their place in the efforts of the three Central European kingdoms of Hungary, Czechia and Poland to create an alliance or “eternal peace” which took many years and was realised in Visegrad in 1335, known today as the Visegrad Agreement
