Abstract

The paper is dedicated to the study of eight original charters in Cyrillic alphabet, issued in the 15th century by Croatian nobles from the Counties of Cetina and Klis, which are now kept in the Archive of the Franciscan monastery on Trsat in the city of Rijeka. It contains an overview on Cyrillic diplomatic literacy in medieval Croatia, historical background of how the documents came from Sinj to Trsat and the analysis of main features of the charters – external, philological and internal
