Abstract
In this article, we analyze the presentation of Iran in the Serbian press in the second half of the 19th century. Articles published in the Serbian press during the reign of King Milan Obrenović and King Alexander Obrenović, i.e. parallel to the period of the Qajar dynasty in Iran, have been considered. The description of the newspaper articles is arranged in chronological order with special reference to the variety of topics related to Iran in them.In this article, we examined the way Iran was described in the Serbian press in the second half of the 19th century (from 1868 to 1903). The Serbian press reported about Iran in different ways in the second half of the 19th century. In this research, articles from newspapers published in the late 19th and early 20th centuries have been analyzed; These articles can be divided into several groups and from their division, the amount of information and awareness of the people of Serbia and Iran can be understood. It is hoped that this research will be the beginning of a way for more investigations and analyzes about the relationship between these two countries
