Abstract
The most important organizations founded with religious and humanitarian aim in the Ottoman Empire and in the whole Islamic world were vaqfs. The vaqfs of Alaca Hisar and Leskovac which were included in the cadastral survey of Alaca Hisar Sanjak dated in 1536 are given in this paper in the form of transcription and fascimiles. This vaqf defter reveals which public edifices belonging to the Islamic architecture were built during the period from Ottoman conquest of this area until the end of the 16th Century
